The conference was hosted by Margo Kemp, Chairman of the Christian Cultural Society Group at the UN.

Sorger said he felt "moved by the Spirit" and "called out several words of knowledge for healing" and "prayed for the Holy Spirit to touch the UN delegates." Sorger said there were many delegates who received Jesus for the first time and "fell under God's power right in front of the offices."

Ukraine-based pastor Sunday Adelaja spoke at the United Nations August 23, discussing how churches can become part of the solution for global problems such as poverty, health and conflict. And more than 200 prayer leaders from 50 nations will be in New York 9-11 September for a Prayer Initiative for the United Nations.

Also in this edition: The miracle of an obedient heart, the amazing testimony of how lives were saved at the recent highway I35-W bridge disaster in Minnesota, USA. And thousands of Christians in Canada are engaged in a national period of consecration to God.
