JNI 640 - This month the state of Israel celebrates it's 60th birthday. Many Christians see God's hand in the restoration of a Jewish state and are praying for God's purposes with the Jewish people and a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

This week Joel News lists four remarkable historic facts in which one could see God's restorative blessing and intervention for the people of Israel. We look at this from a prophetic and historic perspective, not a polical or romantic point of view. In the struggle for the establishment and survival of the Jewish state many people (both Palestinians and Jews) have been displaced against their will or lost their lives in the conflict. There are still many unresolved issues.
