Ukraine's churches are growing 10 percent annually and actively planting churches all over the Russian-speaking world. In this edition of Joel News the encouraging story of the Christian revival in Ukraine.

Valeriy Reshetinsky founded Christian Hope Church in Kiev, Ukraine's capital, in 1991. Today the congregation of 2,500 serves as a mother church to another 150 churches in Ukraine. He believes that God has given Ukraine a 15-year window of opportunity to seize the moment for a reformation of society. Henry Madava, an African pastor, has experienced the power of God. Seven people in his 6,500-member Victory Christian Church in Kiev have been raised from the dead so far. And every Sunday dozens of people experience instantaneous healings at the altar while Madava prays. He started his church in 1992 with three people. Today it is one of the largest churches in a country where few Africans live. Despite opposition, Victory has planted 85 churches in Ukraine and another 23 in other parts of the world.
